/viewuserfilter

Shows the filter the bot is using for your alerts right now.

Type this in DiscordGenerated from the bot
/viewuserfilter [user:<Discord user>]
  • useroptional

Admins only. If you aren't an admin and pick someone else, you see your own filter with a note saying so.

    Type: Discord user

What it does

This command shows your current filter, exactly as the bot has it saved. Use it to check what you're getting alerts for, or to confirm a change you made with /setuserfilter.

Admins can pick another user with the user option to see that user's filter.

To change your filter, use /edituserfilter. To learn how filters work, see the filter guide.

What you get back

Only you can see the reply. It shows your filter as JSON text, titled "Your Current Filter".

If your filter is too long to fit in a Discord message, the reply says so and attaches it as filter.json instead.

Example

/viewuserfilter

The bot shows your saved filter.

If something goes wrong

  • User Not Found: an admin picked a user who isn't set up to use the bot. Check that you picked the right person.
  • Error Occurred: something failed on our side. Try again later.
