/add-sku
Adds up to 15 products to the list of products the bot watches.
/add-sku productids:<text>productidsrequiredEnter internet numbers separated by commas. The internet number is the number on a homedepot.com product page, labeled "Internet #". Each one must be exactly 9 digits, with no letters, dashes, or spaces inside it. Spaces around the commas are fine. Example: 312345678, 204567891
Type: text
What it does
/add-sku adds products to the list of products the bot watches. You identify each product by its internet number.
You can add up to 15 different products at a time. Only valid internet numbers count toward the 15; typos and repeats don't. The list is shared by everyone who uses the bot, so a product someone else already added counts as already watched.
What you get back
A summary that only you can see. It has up to four sections:
- SKUs Added Successfully: products that were new to the list and are now watched.
- Already Monitored SKUs: products that were already on the list.
- Duplicate Input Ignored: numbers you typed more than once. Each is added only once.
- Invalid SKUs (must be 9 digits): entries that aren't a 9-digit internet number. These are skipped. The rest of your list is still added.
Example
/add-sku productids:312345678, 204567891The bot checks both numbers and tells you which ones it added and which ones were already on the list.
If something goes wrong
- "Enter at least one SKU." The box had only commas or spaces.
- "You can add up to 15 SKUs at a time." You entered more than 15 different valid internet numbers. Nothing was added. Split the list across several commands.
- An entry is listed under Invalid SKUs. Check that it's the 9-digit internet number from the product page, not the store SKU, UPC, or model number. Use /get-product-info to look up a product's internet number from its UPC or store SKU.
- "An error occurred while processing your request." Something failed on the bot's side. Try again later.
