/get-stores
Lists Home Depot stores near a zip code, with their store numbers, addresses, and phone numbers.
/get-stores zipcode:<text> [radius:<number>]zipcoderequiredA US zip code: 5 digits, such as 30339. A ZIP+4 such as 30339-1234 also works; the bot uses the first 5 digits.
Type: text
radiusoptionalOptional. Only show stores within this many miles. Decimals are allowed, such as 7.5. Distance is a straight line from the point Home Depot uses for that zip code, not driving distance. Leave it out to see every store Home Depot returns for the zip code.
Type: number · At least 0
What it does
/get-stores asks Home Depot for stores near a zip code and lists them. It's the easiest way to find the store numbers you need for /add-store and other commands.
If you set a radius, the bot keeps only the stores within that distance.
What you get back
A list that only you can see. For each store you get:
- Store name and store number
- Full address
- Phone number and Pro Desk phone number ("N/A" if the store has none)
- Links to the store's Home Depot page, its Home Depot map, and Google Maps
- The distance in miles, but only when you set a radius
A Discord message holds about 4,000 characters, so a very long list stops when it runs out of room. The last line then says how many stores were left out, for example "…and 12 more stores not shown." To see them, use a smaller radius.
Example
/get-stores zipcode:30339 radius:10The bot lists the Home Depot stores within 10 miles of zip code 30339, with the distance to each one.
If something goes wrong
- "Invalid ZIP Code": the zip code isn't 5 digits or a ZIP+4. Enter it like 30339 or 30339-1234.
- "ZIP Code Not Found": Home Depot returned no stores for that zip code. Check that the zip code is right.
- "No Home Depots found near …" Home Depot returned an empty list for that zip code. Try a nearby zip code.
- "No Home Depots found within … miles …" None of the stores Home Depot returned are inside your radius. Try a larger radius, or leave it out.
- "Server Error": the store search failed. Try again later.
- "Home Depot lookups are at capacity right now." The bot is busy. Try again in a few minutes.
- "An error occurred while processing your request." Something failed on the bot's side. Try again later.
