/add-store
Adds one or more Home Depot stores to the list of stores the bot watches for you.
/add-store storeid:<text>storeidrequiredEnter one store number, or several separated by commas. Store numbers have up to 4 digits. Leading zeros are optional, so 589 and 0589 are the same store. Example: 0589, 6177
Type: text
What it does
/add-store adds Home Depot stores to your store list. The bot watches the stores on your list for you.
Your list has a fixed number of slots, which is your store limit. Each store you add fills one slot. Once a store is in a slot, that slot is locked for 7 days. During that time you can't remove or replace that store.
The bot checks each store number with Home Depot before adding it. Stores that don't exist are skipped, and the rest are still added.
If all your slots are full, /add-store replaces stores that have been on your list for more than 7 days, starting with your first slot. The reply lists every replacement under Replaced. If you want to keep a store, don't add more stores than you have free slots.
What you get back
A summary that only you can see. It shows only the lines that apply:
- Added: stores now on your list.
- Replaced: old stores that were swapped out, shown as old → new.
- Already Added: stores that were already on your list.
- Duplicate Input Ignored: store numbers you typed more than once.
- Not Found: store numbers that don't match a Home Depot store.
- No Slot Available (stopped at): stores that couldn't be added because every slot is taken and locked.
Below that, it shows how many stores you're watching out of your limit (for example "3 out of 5"), and your store list. Each section lists up to 25 stores and the store list shows up to 200; for longer lists the reply says how many more there are, and /profile shows everything.
Example
/add-store storeid:0589, 6177The bot adds stores 0589 and 6177 to your list, if both exist and you have room, and shows your updated list.
If something goes wrong
- "No valid store IDs provided." The box had only commas or spaces. Enter at least one store number.
- A store is listed under Not Found. Check the number. Use /get-stores to find store numbers near a zip code.
- A store is listed under No Slot Available. Your list is full and every slot is still locked. Use /profile to see when each store unlocks, then try again. You can also free a slot with /remove-store once a store unlocks.
- "Home Depot lookups are at capacity right now." The bot is busy. Try again in a few minutes.
- "An error occurred while processing your request." Something failed on the bot's side. Try again later.
